Zoe woke up super grumpy on saturday morning. She wouldn’t say anything, just grunt. So I started asking her if she forgot to talk, then if she was really zoe. Finally it came out that she had switched places with an alien and was just learning to talk like a person. Kyra got into it and next thing I know I’m explaining to my two alien visitors what all the stuff around us was (A car is like a spaceship that can’t fly). The spent a lot of time enumerating exactly what things would be covered with slime if they touched them (everything). They get into that kind of thing.
The girls have caught on to foursquare, and now when we go somewhere Kyra reminds me to check in and asks if I’m the mayor. At Chipotle she decided she wanted to be the mayor too. I need to figure out a way for her to play too.
Sunday night I made banana curry for dinner (good: Needs work) and Zoe wanted to help, but after we talked about what happens when you touch onions (can’t touch your face) she got less interested. Instead she helped me by scratching my nose when I needed it. She’s super cute: Every 30 seconds she reminded me and she stood there and watched me the whole time. Then when I needed a scratch (witch normally is never, but this time was about every minute) she scratched me ever so lightly.
